This is the Chinese translation by Zhao Yue of Ian Stevenson’s Where Reincarnation and Biology Intersect, an abridged version of his two-volume Reincarnation and Biology: A Contribution to the Etiology of Birthmarks and Birth Defects.
Stevenson investigates children who report memories of previous lives, focusing on correspondences between birthmarks or congenital defects and wounds or bodily marks attributed to deceased people. The book discusses medical documents, including autopsy and surgical records, in selected cases.
Topics include possible explanations for birthmarks, pigmented moles, congenital defects, twin cases and the author’s interpretation of the relationship between personality and the body. Reincarnation is a hypothesis explored in the book; readers can assess the cases, methods and evidence for themselves.
the book contains 26 chapters, 15 colour photographs and appendices with a translation glossary and additional sources.
