About this book

A book on life education, mortality, meaning and values. Drawing on his near-death experience following a car accident in New Zealand in 2002 and years of teaching, Zhao Yue invites readers to consider where we come from, where we are going and who we are.

The book discusses research and cases concerning out-of-body and near-death experiences, children reporting past-life memories and after-death communication, alongside Eastern cultural traditions. These interpretations and arguments are presented as the author’s perspective.

It also explores preparation, conversations with family, companionship at the end of life and saying goodbye. Its central invitation is to reflect on mortality in advance and live the present with greater clarity.
